Organ Donor Advocate
Website Design and Development ~ Content Management Support
Coen Ashton is a 15 year old with a big heart…and big dreams. With Cystic Fibrosis (CF) and hard to control Diabetes, Coen decided to jet ski the 2000km length of the Murray River in 2010/11 and now undertakes media and community work to raise awareness of Organ Donation.
Coen’s efforts won him the Pride of Australia – Child of Courage – QLD, National Child of Courage Award and the People’s Choice Award in 2011.
Coen and his family are currently living in Melbourne awaiting a call for Coen’s new lungs – a call that will change his life.
We met Coen when our Director Lynsey Goulding was in Melbourne whilst her partner underwent a life saving Bone Marrow transplant. She met Coen’s Mum and asked how we could help.
Since then we have worked with Coen and his family to create them a new website that no only tells his story, but provides information on being a organ donor, Cystic Fibrosis information as well as updates about life on the list.
Progressive undertook the website design and provided a fully-managed content support pack – we are a proud sponsor.
Visit Coen’s website and get blown away by his courage.
